Five years ago, an episode of “Parks & Recreation” changed our world forever. Five years ago, Tom Haverford and Donna Meagle introduced us to Treat Yo’ Self Day. The rules are simple: Treat Yo’ Self to everything you’ve ever frivolously wanted. Clothes? Treat Yo’ Self. Fragrances? Treat Yo’ Self. A mint condition Batman costume? You get the idea.

While we all can’t necessarily shell out a ton of cash for a costume dedicated to our favorite fandom, in the VinePair office our favorite way to treat yo’ self is obviously to pop open a decadent bottle of wine we shouldn’t be purchasing on a random Thursday. But like Tom and Donna said, this isn’t just any MF Thursday, it’s TREAT YO’ SELF DAY and if I’m going to max out my credit card I might as well do it now.
