Yalumba 'Y Series' Unwooded Chardonnay 2018 Review

Wines from Australia on our market have had a rough ride as of late. But there is light at the end of the tunnel and this wine is a great start. With no oak, and good vineyard management, this wine shows the fruitier side of Chardonnay with notes ripe pear mango and kiwi along with the tangy side of acacia. The palate shows vibrant acidity with a lean wet flint rock mouthfeel. Its it all wrapped up with a dose of malo giving the wine a french butter vibe. At $10 you will want to buy a few.
