Vincent Girardin Santenay Terre d'Enfance 2016 Review
The wine with cherry, cranberry and raspberry trifecta swirling around earthy forest floor and mushrooms. There is a tinge of green tea and fresh tobacco leaf wrapped around a touch vanilla. The palate is all acidity, creating a bit of void on the mid palate, but holding up the aromas framed by soft but still-ornery tannins. For the price this is a great example of quality that can be found in Beaune.
