Vincent Girardin Bourgogne Cuvee Saint-Vincent 2017
Review
The wine opens with classic apple but then leans more toward pear with a hint of apricot. There is also a balanced lime tree leanness flecked with citrusy acacia, bordering on tangerine. On the palate there is a nice subtle grip from oak tannin that holds the creaminess in check, while still giving it a voice to the added aroma of dried coconut. There is a bit of a void on the mid palate (lacking a skosh of depth) but the wine is still a nice representation of the region.
