Tenuta Col d'Orcia Olmaia Cabernet Sant'Antimo DOC 2014 Review

This is the leaner side of Cabernet Sauvignon. If you're used to that drippy Cali style, get ready for a palate surprise. The fruit is soft, with a nose that smells like cranberries and cherries. And even though its seen some years in-bottle, the dry tannins are still stubborn around the edges. This bottle has a rustic quality, calling for a skirt steak or filet mignon instead of a big marbled cut.
