Sombra Mezcal Artesanal Reposado Review
This Espadín rests for a brief six-month period in Bordeaux wine casks prior to release. Despite that relatively short period, the influence of aging is apparent throughout, with green cedar aromas emerging to the nose, and rich vanilla detectable on the smoke-heavy palate. While a wine-soaked outlier in the mezcal category, the overall profile here is undeniably enjoyable.
