Sky Vineyards Zinfandel 2019 Review
High up on Mount Veeder, the vines of Sky Vineyards soak up the sun and breathe the rare air above the fog line, over 2,000 feet up. This wine shows off its mountain fruit with wild berries, black tea, and a fresh soil waft on the nose. The palate is elegant and juicy, with a nice tart concentration of fruit. The acid is high and the alcohol is in check — coming in at just 12 percent ABV — making for an amazing food wine.
