Ska Brewing Mexican Logger Review

Ska Brewing launched this warm-weather-friendly Mexican-style lager 20 years ago. This puts them way ahead of the trend (that is, the trend of American craft brewers making Mexican-style lagers). Plus, Mexican Logger is brewed with a yeast strain from Mexico City, which makes it even more legit. The beer is brewed with Saaz hops, which are Czech in origin and impart an herbal, slightly piney hop character. Though Mexican-inspired, the beer also has notes of Bohemian-style pilsner. We picture drinking this on a day off until sundown.
