Saint Archer Mexican Lager
Review
This California-brewed Mexican-style lager pours golden as a Corona with a head the color of bright white sand. Rich, ripe fruit aromas unexpectedly jump from the glass, followed by the herbal, bitter flavors of a German pilsner. It's a little bold for a Mexican lager, a style that is traditionally slightly sweet and clean. The fruity nose, bubbly body, and bitter finish are nonetheless a recipe for a fine afternoon. Pair with fish tacos with a squeeze of lime.
