Review
Although this beer pours dark orange and slightly cloudy, in the age of haze, it leans toward clear. Big, bold aromas of citrus and pine foreshadow a fruity, pithy grapefruit peel flavor and in-your-face bitter finish. Decidedly "West Coast," this IPA is fruity, bitter, and intense. With that intensity of malt and hop, it lacks the refreshing quality of many IPAs, but nails its in-your-face intention.
