Veramonte Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Review
This is an excellent value-priced Cabernet from a sustainably-minded winery in Chile. It has a dark garnet color, and earthy aromas of blackcurrant jam with a hint of mint. Its texture is medium-full-bodied, with fine tannins and deep, dark fruit flavors. It's not the most complex Cabernet, but it is an exceptional value at $11, and tastes the way a solid, unmanipulated Cab should. It's fair to say that it's worlds better than many wines at this price point, and would be a great choice as an everyday sipper.
