Vassaltis Assyrtiko 2016 Review
This fuller-bodied version of Santorini’s signature grape is ripe with intensity and complexity; smoky ash, black stones, white peach, and fresh lime are all fresh and vibrant on the nose. Round, mouth-filling fruit quickly becomes prickly with acidity on the tongue, carrying through all of that stony, savory minerality to a nuanced, lip-smacking finish.
