Torre Fornello 'Diacondo Gerardo 1028' Gutturnio Riserva 2006 Review
A blend of Barbera and Bonarda (aka Croatina), this red has soft, dark fruit aromas complemented by smoked meat, sweet tobacco, and iron. It’s still incredibly fresh on the palate, with grip and prickly acidity, adding in notes of savory herbs and freshly-turned earth. Despite its age, it will continue to get better.
