Tahbilk ‘1927 Vines’ Marsanne 2008 Review
Take a white grape from the Rhône Valley, plant it outside of Melbourne, Australia, age it for nine years, and what happens? This layered, medium-bodied, savory wine that has both richness and complexity. Bruised yellow apple and waxy vanilla candle dominate the nose, while lemon and tart apple brighten up the palate. Interesting and delicious.
