Surly Brewing Sleek IPA Review
Surly's Sleek IPA, translucent gold and sparkling, is smooth and shiny as a freshly polished grapefruit. Peel back the skin, and aromas of citrus, stone fruit, and melon tantalize the nose. Each perfumed sip zests the tongue with pithy bitterness, lingering just long enough. Deft addition of Warrior hops on the hot side, Simcoe on the cool side, and English ale yeast for fermentation achieves a modern IPA that's equal parts bitter and fruity — balanced, but bold.
