Stemmari Grillo 2016 Review
Made from Grillo grapes grown in southern Sicily, this crisp, easy-drinking white is made for warm-weather sipping and pairing with lighter fare. Zesty, springy lime citrus, crunchy green apple fruit, and rocky minerality characterize this wine, its medium-bodied palate seeming deceptively light due to bright, clean acidity. This is proof that exceptional values with friendly profiles can be found by venturing outside the box.
