Groth Hillview Vineyard Chardonnay 2016 Review
This is a classic style of Cali Chardonnay. The flavors are crisp and fruit-forward, including baked granny smith apples with lemon zest and a splash of cream. It's medium-bodied, with only a hint of oak flavor, but noticeable oak texture. It's supple enough to enjoy on its own, and will also pair very well with a variety of chicken or fish dishes. Overall, it's a Cali Chard that will even appeal to people who are skeptical about Cali Chard.
