Gnarly Head '1924 Limited Edition Double Black' 2015 Review
The color of this Zinfandel/Petite Sirah blend is an intense purple, and the wine is enormously concentrated, though not complex. Aromas and flavors consist mostly of raisins and currants. The texture is very viscous and palate coating. If you like young Amarone, this could be a pleasing everyday wine for you – though be forewarned that this wine does not have any of the nuance of Amarone. Drink it on its own as a nightcap.
