Flying Dog Peach Cobbler Ale Review

Flying Dog’s brewhouse rarities series comes out with plenty of hits and plenty of misses. The Peach Cobbler Ale is one of the hits.

It’s an ale with layers of peach puree and vanilla flavors and a touch of clove and nutmeg. If peach cobblers tasted this refreshing, people would never be able to stop eating them. It’s light yet warming, filling yet with a sessionable level of alcohol, sweet yet not cloying.

Say what you will about brewers throwing too many outside flavors into beer. This is good and you don’t have to think long and hard about why. It's peachy in all the right ways and just works.
