Campo alle Comete 'Stupore' Bolgheri Rosso 2015 Review
This is a lively blend of 50% Merlot, 20% Syrah, 20% Petit Verdot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from an estate vineyard site in the Southwest of Tuscany. It's a bright garnet color, and has aromas that include fresh cherries, stewed plums, cocoa powder, and a hint of rosemary. The texture is very smooth and lively, with flavors of dark fruit and a hint of spice. Try it if you enjoy higher-toned, elegant Italian wines. It's balanced enough to enjoy on its own, though it will really compliment a dish of mushrooms and grilled lamb.
