Renegade Cane Rum Pre-Cask Cuvee Aura Review

With decades of exprerience under his belt, industry vet Mark Reynier is currently focused on terroir-driven expressions from Granada with his relatively new Renegade Rum project. This unaged expression manages to straddle fruity, savory, and funky flavors in one fell swoop, without ever leaning too far in one direction. Though $49 may be a bit steep for a mixing spirit, we urge you to mix this rum in cocktails, but it's equally enjoyable as a neat pour or served on the rocks with a lime wedge.
