Ravenswood Dickerson Napa Valley Zinfandel 2016 Review
Of all the single vineyard bottlings from Ravenswood, this is the one to buy. It has less alcohol than the others and opens up with some currant and red berry fruit, particularly raspberry. It will take some time to open and the alcohol will be intense, but if you are making BBQ, this is a baller option. If you like big, bold, high alcohol reds from Cali you can’t go wrong. However, single vineyard wines are special because they express something unique and I am still searching for that uniqueness in this bottle.
