Pollak Vineyards Mille Fleurs 2017 Review
David Pollak spent time in the seventies winemaking in Sonoma County in the cool climate of Carneros. It seems he was looking for a challenge because he and his wife Margo moved to Virginia to have a go in the Commonwealth. The two sought the advice of local vintners to help find their plots of land and today are an important part of the winemaking community bringing Virginia wine to the fore. This wine is an excellent example of the work and serves as a nod to the history of the area with an earthy nose and some honey aromas. The palate is creamy with a lingering finish begging for some local cheeses.
