Pieropan Soave Classico DOC 2017 Review
From a blend of two native grapes from this region, this wine is electric. The nose welcomes with green apple and pear notes layered under a floral earthiness from extended lees contact (lees contact is the wine interacting with dead yeast cells), bringing more depth into the wine. The wine has laser like acidity and slices through the depth, allowing you to enjoy all aspects of the wine. It is a complete pleasure to drink and a great bottle to have on hand as a welcoming glass for dinner parties.
