Monkey 47 Distiller's Cut 13 (2023) Review

Perhaps the only "unicorn" in the gin space, Monkey 47's annual Distiller's Cut release is sold through an online lottery system. Each version includes one additional botanical to the brand's signature recipe of 47 ingredients. This time around, it's "Acer saccharum," more well-known to most of us sugar maple, the base ingredient for maple syrup. Don't think this is a sweet gin, though. Instead, the maple contributes a floral, perfumed aspect, improving what is already a stellar gin.
