Maxville Lake Winery 'Maxville' Cabernet Franc 2016 Review
This wine is balanced and smooth. It’s not very cabernet Franc-y, as it doesn’t have those savory peppery and earthy notes, instead, it’s dosed with a ton of oak and smells more like sweet, aged balsamic and cherries. So if you're looking for a wine with that inherent Cab Franc character it’s not here, but this will probably appeal to a red blend drinker and could be a safe gift for a host who's wine tastes you don't know well.
