Johan Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir 2021 Review

Johan Vineyards are one of five bonded wineries in the newly awarded Van Duzer Corridor AVA in Oregon. They practice biodynamic farming and are Demeter-certified (Biodynamic certification). If you are on the fence about this style of agriculture, this wine will have you jumping on the sustainability side once and for all. The nose has focused fruit with an underlying minerality and just a hint of oak. On the palate, the fruit brings a touch of herbs. The mouthfeel is so balanced between fruit acid and tannins it's almost seamless. It's a Pinot that makes you thirsty. Welcome to the Van Duzer Corridor!
