Jamieson Ranch Vineyards Sonoma Coast Reata Chardonnay 2017 Review
Coming in hot at a hot 14% alcohol that hovers over the wine like a heatwave. Under that layer there is some intense toasted oak, saccharine vanilla, and movie popcorn aromas. The palate is sweet, just straight up sweet, due to the high alcohol (which was once sugar before being converted to ethanol during fermentation) giving boozy banana vibes. Welcome to the eighties, this wine is like those big, back-in-the day Chardonnays that cleans your clock. Stay Hydrated!
