J. Rieger & Co. Midwestern Dry Gin
Review
Tom Nichol, the former long-time master distiller at Tanqueray, had a heavy hand in the development of this gin, giving it immediate credentials. His influence appears to have paid off: The six botanicals used in the recipe (juniper, coriander, angelica root, licorice root, and orange) come together harmoniously, delivering earthy and citrusy sips, with bold juniper throughout. While made in America and marketed as "Midwestern," this gin plays a similar tune as London Dry.
