High West A Midwinter Night's Dram The Encore Act 10 Scene 1 Review
The Encore, the 10th-anniversary edition of High West's annual "A Midwinter Night's Dram" release, is a blend of ryes that have been finished in white port barrels. Although no age statement is given, the whiskey's dark color and rich array of dried orchard and stone fruit notes indicate that it has been aged for a significant amount of time. The whiskey has a well-rounded palate and lively finish. This is a complex and sophisticated sipper that is best enjoyed slowly and savored.
