Foursquare Exceptional Cask Selections Mark XIX 'Sovereignty' Review
Two rums, aged for 14 years each and containing pot and twin column still distillates, blend together in this impressive release. One base spirit was aged in formerly bourbon casks, while the other spent the majority of its aging process in ex-Oloroso sherry vessels. This rum has an abundance of character; with every sip, bright fruit, allspice, cinnamon, caramel, and toasty oak come to life on the palate. At 62 percent ABV, it brings together a complex cast of tasting notes for an intense sipping experience.
