Foppiano Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir 2017 Review

I am not sure this wine is all Pinot Noir. I feel like there is some Syrah in here, because the Pinot Noir part of the wine is masked with heat from high alcohol and general blackberry fruit. There is some hint of the grape in the soft, chewy texture but it is soon overwhelmed by said alcohol. If you like your Pinot Noir intense and boozy, this is for you. Maybe bring this to a backyard BBQ to match heavy protein like a thick cut steak, but not to a wine event.
