Flaneur La Belle Promenade Pinot Noir 2016 Review
Flanuer’s La Belle Promenade vineyard was once a cherry orchard, so how appropriate that they plant a grape that deals in cherry aromas. A blend of different clones, this Pinot is quite reflective of its Woodland Pacific influenced region, with a rich, chewy, medium bodied structure and prominent primary aromas of that typical cherry and earth notes along with some blackberry (which also used to be in the orchard) and a restrained vanilla note due to 38% being aged in new oak. Although this wine would do well with food, it also is a great bottle to just sit and chill with your friends over.
