Elvio Cogno 'Anas-Cetta' Langhe Nascetta di Novello 2018 Review
What a unique wine! Made from a grape that was almost extinct if not for a few winemakers — this one included — the wine's nose is crazy with a big ol’ waft of skunky cannabis and lemons. The palate is earthy (for a white) and you’ll enjoy its interesting depth. The texture is dry but at the same time broad and slightly weighty. This wine is so good and here’s hoping more vines are planted with this grape in the near future.
