Doña Vega Espadín
Review
This relative newcomer to the mezcal category launched in 2019. One of two expressions Doña Vega offers, this Espadín has a rich, smoke-forward profile with subtler hints of sour pineapples and spice. Cooked agave emerges on the palate and mixes well with the smoky bonfire notes that continue from the nose. This mezcal is really enjoyable neat and shines bright when mixed in cocktails.
