Review
For a family that has been making balanced and beautiful wines in and around Meursault since the early 20th Century you would think their entry level wine would be pretty good - as entry level wines go. And you would be wrong for this wine is not good it’s DAMN GOOD. The nose is straight up filled with the aromas of a Parisian Pâtisserie at sunrise; imagine petit fours glazed with subtle lime and guava resting under a quite prominent layer of crunchy praline, rolled oats and roasted hazelnuts. Yeah this wine is cool; on the palate all aromas converge with a rich, balanced yet structured mouthfeel that never overwhelms due to excellent flint-y acidity. For the price this might be one the best fromage et charcuterie vinos on the market.
