Domaine Lafouge Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru Rouge 'Les Duresses' 2021 Review
Domaine Lafouge is a family-run estate that has been producing wines in Burgundy since the mid-17th century. To this day they remain focused on tradition and quality. This wine is made from 60-year-old vines and is still very affordable for the region. The nose has notes of fresh herbs and earth with classic black cherries. The mouthfeel is vibrant with a nice tang that lifts the wine on the palate. The minerality plays well with the fruit depth, bring a nice harmony to the wine.
