Domaine Karydas Naoussa 2015 Review

Before the wine hits your nose it goes to your head. Before it hits your palate it it goes to your soul. If you are a fan of wines made from the Nebbiolo grape (Barolo, Barbaresco, etc.) you will love this wine. It is powerful and elegant at the same time, with a significant interwoven tannin structure, and a palate of earthy dried cherry fruit tinged with fresh soil and violets. The acidity is perfect, balancing all these characteristics flawlessly. The price is great, but that doesn’t matter cuz this wine is worth every penny.
