Dom Ruinart Rosé 2009 Review

The iconic Ruinart Champagne house is named after Dom Thierry Ruinart, a monk who left the abbey to experience the world. While exploring he came across a new style of wine that was popular at the time, a wine with bubbles. This inspired his nephew, Nicolas Ruinart to start Maison Ruinart in 1729 as the world's first-ever Champagne-producing company. For over two centuries, the house has been making wine and is now one of the most recognizable brands on our market.

Immediately from the nose the crisp nature of the wine comes through. This is great because the soft creamy, almost fleshy brioche depth calms and softens the mouthfeel. All the while aromas of raspberries flecked with vanilla bean touch every corner of the palate. Just a beautiful wine.
