Cigar City Brewing Jai Alai IPA
Review
This is the original pre-hazy-as-a-style IPA. It has tropical hop character and juicy citrus flavor without shying away from the malt, which was and still is a bold (and much appreciated) move in the beer drinking universe of "hop heads," "haze bros," and curmudgeons for that matter. Six citrusy hop varieties and touch of caramel malt live in fruit-driven balance. It's all wrapped up in a dangerously drinkable 7.5 percent ABV, making this the perfect vacation beer, happy hour round, or really any purchase you find yourself mulling over in the grocery isle or beer shop.
