Review
The history of American wine is a rollercoaster. It's humble beginnings on the East Coast proved to be treacherous but as we moved into the Midwest, we developed hybrids that could handle our climates and pests. At the same time, fruit other than grapes began to ferment and Michigan went full throttle on cherry wine. To this day, almost any wine shop you enter in the wolverine state will have at least one or two Michigan-proud cherry wines. In honor of this history, this wine must be mentioned and celebrated. It smells like cherries — obviously — but is as balanced as a wine made from grapes. Sweet, grippy, and balanced. Go Mitten State!
