Champagne Gosset Grand Rosé Brut NV Review

This is a wine from the oldest house in Champagne, which dates back to the 16th century. It shows the kind of balance wines from here may have had when the bubbly idea first arrived in the region. Gosset is all about the terroir, so they make sure that comes through in the wine. And boy, does it. The classic heady, brioche aroma welcomes your nose and is immediately complemented by a mineral-driven strawberry aroma, a slight savory note, and a whisper of herbs. The palate has very active bubbles with an earthy hint to see you out on the finish.
