What started as an offer to buy a ranch on a photography trip has turned into one of the most celebrated California wine brands. Cakebread continues to be a Napa Valley icon, with elegant wines like this Chardonnay. The nose has subtle oak and savory notes. The palate is wonderfully delicate with nice grip and a mineral finish. It's such an easy, balanced wine.
