Bussay Pince Csókaszőlő 2021 Review
Csókaszőlő is a native Hungarian variety, and other than József Szentesi at the Bussay winery, there are only a handful of producers working with it. It’s always awesome to experience a variety not previously known to the American market — especially a wine this good. It’s herby and tinged with floral notes and some brambly dark fruit. The palate has a dusty tannic frame with wonderful tart savory fruit and great acidity. A chillable red for sure.
