Blenheim Vineyards Chardonnay 2019 Review
There’s a great quote from the Blenheim Vineyards website, “Winemaker Kirsty Harmon starts with science.” Hell yes. She has a background in microbiology and studied yeast genetics for several years. That with the addition of being an awesome winemaker has really helped Blenheim become a winery leading the charge of getting eyes on Virginia wine. This wine is great. The nose is earthy with an almost warmed honey vibe among the fruit. The palate is rich and thick with deep fruit but the wonderful acidity comes through in the finish.
