Angostura 1919 Review

Angostura might be synonymous with cocktail bitters, but the brand's line of enjoyable, competitively priced rums are equally worthy of your attention. This release, a blend of five rums ranging from 5 to 14 years in age, is a bright, fruity rum with lots of character. On the nose, you’ll find notes of tropical fruit and sweet vanilla, which carry onto the palate and are met with the flavor of baking spices, oak, and a hint of chocolate. It’s rich and complex but still manages to stay light, fruity, and bright.
