The Story Behind The Cranberry Orange Whiskey Sour

Sours are a class of cocktails that have been around for almost 200 years — and there’s a good reason why. Crown Royal’s delicately creamy and full-bodied flavor perfectly pairs with citrus juice, cranberry bitters, and an optional egg white foam for a cocktail that’s easy to enjoy while unwrapping presents or watching your favorite holiday movies.


  • 1 ½ ounce Crown Royal Deluxe Blended Whiskey
  • ½ ounce orange juice
  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • ½ ounce egg white (optional)
  • 3 dashes cranberry bitters
  • Rosemary sprig (for garnish)


  1. Combine whiskey, orange juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (optional) in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake until thoroughly chilled and strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  3. Top with three dashes of cranberry bitters and garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig.
