If you have a hankering for some guac and chips, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (or “DJ”) will foot your bill — if you order some of his Teremana Tequila, that is.

In a video Johnson posted on Instagram, the actor announced he will be sending up to $10 per person in order to cover the cost of their guacamole if they ordered it alongside a cocktail made with Teremana tequila.

Johnson says the promotion is intended to help restaurants get back on their feet in the wake of the pandemic. In a combined celebration of both Cinco de Mayo and The Rock’s own birthday, which is May 2, the offer will be run from May 1 to May 5. The bar tab is capped at $1 million, and all of the money will be sent from Johnson’s Venmo account.

“I want to help get people safely back into our restaurants, bars, and hotels. This is an industry close to my heart and one who [sic] normally gives all of us so much support year-round,” Johnson said in a press release. “These people need our help and support to get back in business.”

In order to redeem your guac rebate, all you have to do is upload an itemized receipt at guacontherock.com, or scan a participating restaurants’ QR code while you’re there. You can read all the official rules on the Teremana website, where you can also check for your closest establishment that’s in on the deal.

What’s even better than free guacamole? How about telling your friends an A-List celebrity bought you dinner.
