Pizza and beer is a combination that’s easy to love, and now the Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad (LM&M Railroad) is offering passengers an opportunity to take the two perennial favorites on the go.
Tapping into the popular booze train experience, fares include a personal pizza and one alcoholic beverage, in addition to a full bar with snacks in the Queen City Tavern Car that offers guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy the scenery at ease, according to Cincinnati’s WLWT 5.
Traveling roundtrip between Lebanon and Hageman Junction, Ohio, the nine-mile journey follows Turtle Creek and crosses five bridges, taking approximately one hour and fifteen minutes to complete. At the time of publishing, only July 10 and 24 are open for booking. Update: July 23 and July 30 are open for booking.
Conductors are local historians, sharing operational history and interesting facts about the area throughout the ride. For oenophile Ohioans, LM&M also frequently offers wine and cheese train trips.
Coach seats are $25, but for $35, passengers can ride in style, with deluxe class, air conditioned, and plush seats in the Milwaukee Road 3200 Coach, featured in the movie Carol.
Trains depart at 6 pm, with rides ending at 7:15. So with summer fast approaching, hop on board for a slice and a pint to kick off the season.
