Attention Milwaukee thrifters and vintage collectors: The Pabst Mansion is having a yard sale.

The former home of Pabst Brewing founder Captain Frederick Pabst, whose family lived here from 1892 to 1908, is lightening its load of housewares, breweriana, and other knickknacks with an estate sale on June 8, 2019.

The more than 1,000 items for sale include beer steins, beer bottles, and decanters; Victorian-era furniture; tobacco cards; a cigar wrap album; and cast iron railing from Milwaukee’s old railway, Journal Sentinel reports.

The items being sold did not belong to the Pabst family, but were staging items used by the museum before it acquired original pieces from the family. “We didn’t have all the decorations and ornamentations in 1978 so we acquired staging pieces,” Pamela Williams-Lime, Pabst Mansion president, says.

Nevertheless, some of the items look pretty cool (and others, creepy).

The Pabst Mansion outdoor estate sale will take place on June 8, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2023 W. Wisconsin Ave., in the parking lot across from the mansion. More information is available here.
